Birgit 21'' foldable windproof recycled PET umbrella with logo
Sunshine in the morning, rain by the afternoon. Birgit folds down to 28 cm and lives in a backpack, handbag or car door pocket until the moment it is needed. A recycled PET canopy and a wooden handle make it a promotional gift that fits brands with a sustainability message.
A day with Birgit
It weighs only 276 g and comes with a pouch, so a wet umbrella does not soak everything else in the bag. The canopy opens manually and measures Ø 96 cm when open – a single-person umbrella. Good for staff welcome packs, conference delegates, students and clients who walk or use public transport.
Material and construction
The canopy is recycled PET (rPET) pongee polyester and the handle is wood. The shaft is metal and the ribs are fibreglass – they flex in gusts instead of snapping, which is why the manufacturer classes it as windproof. Keep in mind: recycled PET is still a plastic (polyester), the manufacturer does not publish the exact recycled share, and windproof is not storm-proof.

Panels 1, 3, 5 and 7 can be decorated, each up to 240 × 150 mm:
